: I use it, and it works fine. You know the sync cable should be a Are you referring to the BNC to BNC cable? I didn't know they had different ohm ratings. I just went into Radio Shack and bought one, I have no idea about the Ohm rating. However, my soundcard has some word clock termination values that can be set. One is for 75 ohms. I haven't played around with this yet. I've been trying to get a response from Alesis as to which termination value to use. I'm trying the word clock option because I can't get audio just using the lightpipe. When using the lightpipe only, I was setting the QS to be the master (internal) and the soundcard to be the slave. The funny thing is that I was able to hook my QS8's optical out up to his Pro Tools Digi 001 without a hitch. I didn't even need the wordclock option. I'm wondering if my problem is the soundcard or Cubase VST/24. I suppose it could also be my computer. His computer was a Mac G4, while mine is a generic IBM PC. Greg
