    I use it, and it works fine. You know the sync cable should be a
    75 Ohm video cable, not a 50 Ohm network cable? It's a bit suspect
    that it doesn't fit solid, mine fits fine. My QS8 is set for
    44K external in the global section, I assume you set the clock source
    appropriately on both the QS8 and the card? And you get the same
    result if the QS is the clock master and the card is slaved to
    the clock on the lightpipe? Also when in doubt make sure you
    have the latest soundcard drivers.
    Do you get the same results at 44 and 48Khz (with both ends set
    up appropriately, and maybe trying the master clock from each side
    with each option?)
