  • "Expando" and "QCard" banks from Alesis?

    Hi all...

I was sniffing around the Alesis corporate website
and found some interesting files to download. They have
available all of the standard program banks for the
QS6/7/8, and they also have banks that they call
"Expando" banks and "QCard" banks. I have since learned that
the standard and "Expando" banks came on the CD-ROM
    that came with my QS8.

My question is: Can these "Expando" banks be loaded into the INTERNAL
memory of the QS8, the "user" bank? If so, how? Also, are these
"QCard" banks the exact same sounds that you would get
if you bought the Q-Card for $229? What gives?

If all of this is possible, why is it not mentioned ONCE in the manual?
I am looking at Chapter 9 right now and see NOTHING about
transfering data to or from a source other than a memory card.
    What am I missing here?

    Thanks for your help!

    - Dan
