midi formats question

Hi all,
I was trying to put some of my midi files in my phone (nokia 6103)...but after a few tries I realized that something was wrong....
I don't understand why some midi files are played fine, with some other files the phone says "file corrupted".
I tried to convert these midi files from type 0 to 1 and vice-versa, but I didn't get any better.
Do you think you would understand something if I posted some examples of files that work and do not work?
I tried with nokia support and nokia forum but I didn't get any solution
So I thought I could find some help in some forum specialized in midi.
