Audio Click Track to MIDI

I would love to be able to find a way to take an audio signal of a click (i.e. out of a metronome) and convert it into a midi tempo signal. If there's a way to do this, that would be amazing. If it's something reasonable to build that would be alright, but a piece of hardware already built would be great.
