:Hi, Semaj. Well, I managed to find a game port cable that had two MIDI connectors and a gameport connector. Costs almost $30 (a total rip), but I needed to connect MIDI to the gameport on my new machine (this one, not the one I use for doing music).

So the cables are out there, but I had to search several stores to get one.

As to Sound Forge, I've been using it for a few years now (4.5), and it is used for processing only audio files. So your MIDI connection won't work with SF, as it needs audio data to process, (wave/MP3 and others) rather than MIDI. You'll have to run your midi through your sound module then upload the output wave file to the computer. You can then edit the audio .wav file via SF.

Hope this helps. I might have misunderstood the question. If so, email me and hopefully we can solve your problem.
I invite you to check out my new site (as of last week) of all MP3 music. www.geocities.com/peterleslie91406. I've got most of my MIDI pieces (Les Hennessey) redone in MP3 format, so would like to hear what you think. I give yours a listen tomorrow.

All the best

Peter Leslie
