: When I click master section on right bottom of my desktop, there's no MIDI option at all. Does this mean that MIDI interface isn't enabled and if so, where can I enable it?

"Master section on right bottom of the desktop"... Do you mean the small speaker icon in the taskbar? If this is what you mean, open the Play Control window, go to Options/Properties (I think it's Properties, I use french Windows 95) and look into the bottom window; there is the complete list of playback controls you can enable. The MIDI one might not be enabled and that's the reason you don't see the MIDI slider.

:My Keyboard settings are just fine and I know how the settings should be in sequencer prog. so problem is probably with the cable then. I've got a cable like this:
: What's the use of that right side hm.. do you call it adapter. Left one fits in joystick port but couldn't find any use to the other. I assume it's just that you can connect joystick and use it at the same time or maybe I'm just totally lost :).

I took a look at the picture. I couldn't tell for sure what the female DB15 connector does since this is not the type of cable I use; but from what I see on the picture, all the necessary connectors to play MIDI are there.

Look into the Multimedia/Advanced control panel; there should be a "MIDI Instruments" branch. If you see any port that bears the word "MIDI Out" in there, click on it, click on Properties and make sure that it's not disabled.

If that doesn't work, you should send me some more basic info: what sound card, Windows and sequencer you use. Also include the complete list of ports that appear in the Multimedia/Advanced/MIDI Instruments window.
