Newbie - Audigy 2 - no midi interface

Hello.
I am a complete newbie and I apologize for posting a basic question.
I am helping a friend who wishes to attach a keyboard to his PC and use "Finale" software.
It's a new Dell PC with an "Audigy 2" card - but it appears to be the version of the card without a midi port.
What is the recommended path to take?
I see "Roland" and others seem to make USB cables with midi interfaces... if that's a good way to go, which one to get?
or
Is there an add-on for the Audigy 2 card?
Should I get an additional card?
