Midi Latency USB Interface

I replaced my soundcard and had to get a USB (ESI ROMI/O) midi interface.
Well now there is a little latency for the midiinformation going through the computer. When you play live to already recorded tracks on CW9..
CWalk recieves on Ch1 and sends it to the right module on another midichannel..
Before it was connected to the Gameportmidi on Creative Live!. There was no latency then but now there is a small delay.
Have anyone encountered this phenomenon och fixed it? Any hint is appreciated..
