mc-505 data dump problems

Hi,

I have a problem with my MC-505 OS (1.04).
It seems to be losing memory. I just have 12K left (which means I hardly can save any new patterns, while just a fraction of my user patterns is used). I'd like to do a data dump (sysex send and receive) to my PC. I tried every freeware program around and I seem to be able to dump the data to my PC, but I can't send it back to my mc-505. The error messages are: MIDI buffer full and checksum error. Does anyone have a solution for this problem? Thanx!
