S80 multi-part tone to play back in performance mode?

How do I get EXACTLY the same sound assigned to a 'part' in Performance mode as I have in Voice mode? I am trying to play two patches at once from an S80 - one from a controller, and one from the S80 itself- and I when I choose a voice from the voice mode, it just isn't the same sound. Do I have to manually add the effects and parameters to match the 'voice' patch, or is there a better way to do this,
