With my other synth (Roland) I never had any problems. Even if I hook my headphones direct in the QS8, the hum is audiable, and between my synths and my amp there's a mixer, and if I plug my headphones in the mixer, still a hum. I'ts got something to do with the powersupply (60 Hz is the local AC) or with grounding, but i don't know what. Direct next to the powersupply is the phones, this one has a lower hum than the L/R next to it, and the hum on the AUX L/R is lower than the one on the normal L/R.
When I'm playing it's distracting me... And for live use it could be a problem...
