First...I love this site :) great work!
Second... i have a problem with my QS8 and I can't find anything on it on the internet (incl. this site). What happend is that when i was uploading some patches via midi (sam's famous piano patches), the QS suddenly decided to display odd characters (lots of X's). From that moment on, there's been no recognizable output anymore. Here's what i tried, but no change at all:
- power-on + 0 + 3
- reload factory patches blindly, from different computers, different timings etc
- opened up synth, removed LCD, cleaned everything, put everything together again
The rest of the synth seems to work.
Any ideas??? Thanks in advance.
