I have the exact same problem with cakewalk SONAR. My soundcard does have a Roland GS wavetable synth built in. Itīs an Avance AC97 (Realtek 6 channel). I just canīt see the MIDI output for this in Sonar. However I can see the gameport MIDI output/input MPU-401...but this is useless without some MIDI kit plugged into it. I have tried with both the WDM driver and MME(slow one)it makes no difference at all. The GS wavetable works fine with other crappy MIDI programs like Vanbascoīs Karaoke....If anyone can help!!?
