This is a collection of J.S. Bach's Concert in c-Minor for Two Harpsichords
and Orchestra with Two Violins, Viola and Continuo (B.W.V. 1060).

The work is composed of three movements, Allegro (BWV1060A.MID 4'28), 
Adagio (BWV1060B.MID 4'26) and Allegro (BWV1060C.MID 3'35).

I originally sequenced the first movement in 1992 with the Adlib Visual
Composer and converted the .ROL file to MIDI. This was posted to the
Internet about five years ago. Since I was using FM synthesis back then,
the MIDI conversion was sloppy at best, and I recently discovered
that I had sequenced many of the voices completely wrong :)

Alot has changed in the PC world since then,. Although I am
still quite a bit backwards, my knowledge of MIDI is vastly
greater and having better tools I have completely resequenced the First 
Movement. In addition, I have also sequenced the Second and Third 
Movements. All of these are included in this collection.

I hope that I have faithfully orchestrated each part and I have selected
what I think is a decent panning. I have used GM patch 49 for all of
the strings and patch 7 for the harpsichords.


It is nothing to brag about, but these MIDI files were created using the
following setup:

	Computer: 	486DX4-100
	Sound Card:	Creative Labs Sound Blaster 16
	Software:	Windows 95
			Lime
			Voyetra MIDI Orchestrater Plus
			Wingroove

(One of these days I will get a real MIDI card/synthesizer :)

I hope you have as much fun listening to this work as I had sequencing it.

About the sequencing: 
	Lime is an excellent piece of software. I sequenced this entire
	collection using it. The Adagio was originally sequenced using
	the Voyetra sequencer (also quite nice!), but imported and
	corrections made to it in Lime. The first movement was completely
	resequenced from the old MIDI file using Lime.
