SIX .INS FILES FOR THE ALESIS QS6.1 AND S4+
Suitable for importing into Cakewalk

Included in this zip file are six .INS files -- three for the Alesis S4+, 
and three for the Alesis QS 6.1.  I have several QCards, so the different 
instruments represent some (but not all) of the configurations available to 
me (depending on which cards are inserted into which instruments).

Even if you don't use these synths and QCards in the same configurations I 
do, there are plenty of patch name lists in here that can be copied/pasted 
into your own .INS files.  I think the QS6.1 files will work with the QS7 
and QS8  as well.

Here's what is in the files:

--*-- S4PlusClassical.ins:  Program names for the S4+ factory user bank, 
all of the preset banks, and the Classical QCard.

--*-- S4PlusJazzP.ins:  Program names for the S4+ factory user bank, all of 
the preset banks, and the new Jazz Piano "Soloist Series" QCard <-- this 
card is excellent, by the way.

--*-- S4PlusPiano.ins:  Program names for the S4+ factory user bank, all of 
the preset banks, and the original Grand Piano Quadracard (which is 
different from the Grand Piano QCard).

--*-- QS61PlusVKClass.ins:  Program names for the QS6.1 factory user bank, 
all of the preset banks, the Vintage Keys QCard, plus the Classical QCard.

--*-- QS61PlusVKVS.ins:  Program names for the QS6.1 factory user bank, all 
of the preset banks, the Vintage Keys QCard, plus the Vintage Synths QCard.

--*-- QS61PlusSRAMClass.ins:  Program names for the QS6.1 factory user 
bank, all of the preset banks, a SRAM card containing Patchman Music's 
Volume 1 patches, plus six of the QS7/QS8 "Expando" banks from the Q-Series 
CD-ROM (these seem to work just fine on the QS6.1).  The Classical QCard 
program names also appear in this file.
