Is there ANY information out there that shows step by step how to take a .wav sample and use it correctly in a QS7.1?

Everything I have found on the net is totally over my head. I have been able to get samples loaded into my QS7, but they are always wrong, for instance overlapped with exisiting sounds, or not tweaked correctly.

I know NOTHING about sampling, and am looking for something that would guide me step by step through the process, especially on how to correctly tweak a wav and load it into the synth. I've seen instructions that say to set up a default patch first, but no direction on how thats done.

    Any help greatly appeciated.
