I disagree totally - I have had yamahas and Rolands - the alesis stande right up to 'em - the sw pkg enables you to dload diff samples and sounds - if you cant find patches you like from the thousands avail and the infinite # of samples then 1) you are very discriminate and 2) you'll have to (gasp!) PROGRAM - the sky is the limit with this thing and if you can't see that, well, I feel sorry for you
