My system used to do the same thing whenever I tried to play from Band In A Box. Turned out that BIAB was sending a "Start Song" message before it started playing, and the QS8 responds to this by playing QCard demos. The "Start Song" thing was turn-offable in BIAB's preferences menu, which made the problem go away. Perhaps your sequencer has a similar setting?

: My system does the same thing. To solve this, just set your start point at bar2 or later.

: : I know there's probably an easy solution, but I'm new to this...

: : I've started multitimbral sequencing on my QS7, and can set it up fine, but when one of my 2 Q-Cards is in Slot A, the instant a MIDI message leaves the keyboard, it automatically switches to the Q-Card's autodemo song and starts playing that. It does this when used with a Roland MC-50mkII sequencer AND the Cubasis program that came with the CD-ROM. Take the card out of Slot A, and no problem, but I'd like to have access to both at once.

    : : Thanks,
