Just bought a new QS7.1 to use in an upcoming production of Fiddler On The Roof. This show makes heavy use of an accordion in its scoring.
In trying out my keyboard's accordion programs and mixes, I've discovered the the "accordion" (4:021) and "WrmAcrdion" (2:028) programs emit a percussive popping sound when playing the notes Bb above middle C through the Eb above that. Other notes seem not to have this "feature".
Alesis tech support said that point is a sample split point and the sampled instrument must have made those sounds when sampled.
I'm a bit sceptical of that, and have found the percussive sound often doesn't appear if I put the key down extremely hard.
1. Has anyone else seen this?
2. Can I edit it out of those notes?
