okay, so reading through some of the questions about ADAT/TOSLINK etc. has started me thinking (dangerous i know). since the fiber cable (i got one) works with an adat (don't got one) and fits into a minidisk (could get one), is the ADAT protocol such that you would get useless digitial poop if you plugged it into a minidisk recorder. any brave soul tried this? ...andy
