If you read my earlier post you will know that I have just purchased a QS6.1 and am having trouble
getting the sequencer to work. (join the club eh) This is such a common problem that Alesis has 3 or 4
phone messages dedicated to just this problem. So far nothing has helped. I did get a hold of a real
person at Alesis yesterday. He seemed to think that the serial port on my IBM Aptiva and my Modem
were both on COM1 and to call IBM. Well he at least got me of the phone and out of his hair for the moment.
After checking the SETUP menu with the computer, I discovered that the COM port and the modem were
not sharing the same address.
My question is: When the Alesis driver is installed and the QS6.1 is connected should I still get the
message from the driver "NO ALESIS SYNTH ATTACHED"?
