I use a MOTU MIDI Express interface to connect my numerous synths, except for the QSR. The sysex dump just didn't work,
so I hooked it up to my SoundBlaster card's game-port MIDI interface, and no more problems, sysex messages transmitted in
both ways perfectly. I guess it's back to the basics...
