    Hi,
I wanted to add an 88 key weighted controller to my Midi studio which has an S5000 as the primary sound source. I initially was going to just buy the Fatar SL-880 (about 750) but my dealer offered a new QS8.1 to me for $1200. Is this a good price- and will this be a good choice for the controller- I already have some great pianos on the Akai, though it is more convenient to fire up the Alesis and just use its good onboard sounds for practice. I mainly need splits and good modulation control. Also, does the keyboard action hold up well on the QS 8.1? The Roland A-90EX was out of my price range.
    Thanks
