I need help with the QS6 SysEx documentation for Opcode 10 (MIDI editing). I downloaded the SysEx documentation, but do not understand the Opcode 10 section. What I need is someone to walk me through the following:

If, for example, I want to edit a Mix to disable Channel 1, I notice that in the documentation chart Func=0 Page=0 Pot=3, and here's where I start:

F0 00 00 0E 0E 10 F7

Now I need to determine what values the above variables hold. This is where I'm confused. First of all, why is there a 0 in each ? Am I supposed to use that 0 for something, or ignore it? Also, does each letter represent one bit, or something else? If each letter does represent one bit, where do I find the value of that bit?

Second, how does one use the Func, Page, & Pot values? To me it looks as though mm=00H, fffff=00H, ss=00H, ppppp=00H, cccc=00H, dd=02H, vvvvvvvv=00H.

The above values may be wrong, but I don't know how else to determine them.

Ok, now I have seven Hex numbers, but I only need four. How am I supposed to get those four Hex numbers out of the seven Hex numbers I have?

As you can see, I'm lost, and would greatly appreciate any assistance. Thanks.
