The QS synthesizers feature a few oriental instruments, but I can't tell whether it'll contain the right ones for your wife.
Anyways, you can either use existing samples with various settings to emulate the desired instrument, or buy a FlashROM cart for the synthesizer, where you can burn samples on and create new instruments, with the help of Soundbridge.
