By the way: I managed to crash my QS-8 ONCE (with its equivalent of a general protection fault).
Since I'm using that synth for quite a while now (I don't even have the latest OS update, I guess), I think this is quite good.
Some crash experience with other machines:
    - Korg 01R/W: total crash, even complete reset didn't help, lasted for 30 minutes, then it rebooted
    - Yamaha DX7-II: only 1/2 of the maximum voice number was operational. Reset solved the problem
    - Rhodes Mk I: Keys get stuck ;-) Nasty!
