Hey, I am new to keyboarding and just purchased an Alesis QS6.1, mostly for writing MIDI tracks. I am having a problem... I am getting confused with how the MIXES work.
I am writing music on a bar graph in a shareware MIDI program. Now, in PROGRAM mode, I can tell it what instrument to play and it'll do it fine, but I can only play one CHANNEL at a time that way, leaving out the drum track. In MIX mode, how do I tell the MIDI program what MIX to use? It keeps wierding out on me whenever I try to play something through MIX mode and I can't figure out how to use the MIX I want. I set it to that mix, but it changes when it starts playing.
Any suggestions?
