I am a new QS8 owner for about two months. I shoppped for about 4 months, trying many boards. It's all personal preference. I liked the combination of sounds, feel, and price. I am doing very basic programming now, such as splitting the keyboard and layering sounds. The manual is very good, and this forum has answered several of my questions about the QS8, as well as about other items such as recommendations on amps, pedals, carring cases, and notation software. Hope this helps.
: I'm on the verge of ordering a QS8 for $1350. But after reading the potential problems, I may have to postpone ny purchase. If authentic keyboard action and good piano sound is important, should I get the QS8 or the Kurzweil PC88?
