I got done the same way the guy thought he had a Qcard but it was an older quadra card
the classical one like yours, I`m not sure what extra banks your talking about ,did you get a disk with yours?
What I had to do "for my QS6.1" was edit an existing cakewalk instrument definition.
It works like a charm now but I`m not sure that would help you .
If you like I could send you a copy so you could
paste the instrument list from it into a new ins file.

: hi all, i recently got an old Classical QuadraCard because it was the right price, it's very nice and i thought it was supposed to be identical to the new one but for some reason, the preset list of programs is different and i can't load the extra banks in either -- they produce no sound.
: what's going on here? can someone please fill me in with the technical details? it'd be el mucho appreciated... any help getting new sounds for my old QuadraCard would be awesome too since the extra banks don't work. many thanks!
