I have had some problems with some MIDI files playing out of tune, and also was not able to transfer sysex from my keyboard to my PC (only the other way around). I found out what was wrong.... For some reason, there is no choice in the global I/O setting on the keyboard for 115.2 kbps transfer rate, the highest is 38.4 kbps. I found that my Alesis Serial driver was set to communicate at 115.2 kbps, so I changed this to 38.4 (in multimedia properties) and the problem went away. Anybody know why this is?
