: Freeloader is a utility to upload syx files to your Alesis synth. Basically you can upload different patch banks into you QS8's user bank. Once in the user bank, you can use the QS8's copy feature to copy the bank to a card.

: You cannot load directly to cards. Also you cannot load sequences or samples.

So, if I understand this correctly, I can load the supplemental program banks included on the Alesis CD-ROM into my user bank using Freeloader. And if I don't have a card with which to back my user bank over to, I thus lose my user bank presets? BUT, I can use Freeloader to copy the user bank presets also provided on the Alesis CD-ROM back into my user bank, thus overwriting whatever was there before.

All of this is by way of me trying to figure out how I can audition all of the supplemental program banks provided on the Alesis CD-ROM, and on my Eurodance Q-card, without having to purchase - for the moment - an external SRAM card. So your assistance is appreciated.
