I want to sequence multiple programs in Mix Mode on one MIDI channel with my QS6.1. I'm using Cubase VST 3.5. The Mix Mode sounds where programs are ascribed to multiple MIDI channels are great. I want to layer multiple programs on one MIDI channel so that I can trigger a Mix Mode sound. Is this done in Cubase, or is there a way to do it from the Alesis? I'm surprised no one else has asked this question...please help!

: : I am thinking about to buying a synthsizer and my mid was seted between Korg N5 and Alesis Qs6.1. So which one is better overall? What about in terms of sound, features, function, quality?

:
: I was tossing up between a QS6 and an N5 a few months ago and went with the QS6. IMHO the QS6 has better rhythm/precussion sounds, slightly better pianos, better brass and synth sounds and generally a more useable sound set. Plus it is upgradeable (with the Q-Cards). The Korg has more impractical "over-the-top" sounds, but better strings and choirs. The Alesis has far better FX capabilities.

: At the end of the day, the ability to add new sounds via the Q-Cards was an important swing factor for me. But spend time checking them both out. Whichever one you like the sound of better is the one you should get.
