: How many piano programs does it have?
Hi John, The qs series does have sampling features, but only if you have access to a computer. Samples can be loaded into your computer then transfered to the synth into a flashram card ( up to 8 megs per card, on the qs6.1, qs7, qs8,qsr you could use two cards, 16 megs). The qs series has @ 32 individual samples for accoustic pianos i.e. darkpianoright, darkpianoleft, etc., not to mention dozens more for wurlitzer ep's, rhoads, yamaha fm's etc.,etc.,etc. then the programs and mix patches are derived from these resident samples.(too many to count). If your like me, you doctor up the existing piano programs and mixes until you tweak them just the way you like! If that doesn't work for you , you download other qs'er's patches or samples off the internet or CD-rom's. The sky is the limit, fella!!! (within limits of course)
Happy Thanksging,
Paul Wheeler
