: For Wah:
: read about TVF - Time Variant Filter.
: Assign pedal to the "Cuttoff Frequency" parameter of TVF.

: For AutoWah:
: read about LFO - Low Frequency Oscilator.
: Assign LFO to "Cutoff Frequency" parameter of TVF.

In Dmitry's post of October 12, 1998, he makes references to an item called a "TVF-- Time Variant Filter", with an associated "Cutoff Frequency" parameter.

I've looked through the QS8 manual and I can't find anything by the name TVF. In the chapter on editing programs, there is a "Filter Frequency" parameter associated with the Filter editing function. It sets the baseline, or initial cutoff frequency. In the same chapter, there's also a bit in the section on Modulation about assigning the pedal as a modulation source to a parameter called "Filter Cutoff".

I wonder if anyone (Dmitry? Anyone else?) can clarify the terminology as used in the QS8 manual and point me in the right direction? I apologize in advance if I've missed something in the book.

Thanks again.
