Hi, I have a question for ur cakewalk user. I have just got my cakewalk pro audio 8.0. i know you can go to cakewalk view sys ex and to receieve sys ex message from alesis. What I don't understand is that how do you send for example a user mix 01 (that included 16 tracks and the different modulation i have set) from alesis to cakewalk.
Also, when i press receive, and select alesis mix prog from cakewalk, it ask me about patch/control #, what does that mean, is it refering to the user prog #,
Also, one more question, since cakewalk can store sys ex message, and play back later, then isn't it true that there is no need to store user mixes bcuz you can just send it to cakewalk, and later on when you play the sequence, it will automatically send the bank and all the related info to qs8?

Any help would be greatly appreciated
