Hi Paul,
sure you can.

Simple example:
-Take any General MIDI sequence from the net and make sure that at least one midi channel is unused (# 16 for example)
-Burn it to the card
-turn your QS mode from NORMAL to SOLO (it's in the GLOBAL settings, there are different ways to achieve the same goal)
-Switch to GM mode, then to channel 16
-Start the sequence, play along (switch instrument)

-one question remains: WHY 8MB? You can only burn only! 50 sequences per card. You'll use only a fraction of your expensive memory.

-Tip: If you want to solo over an already burnt (GM) Midi sequence: You can turn any channel off anytime.
-'nother tip: if you want to do this kind of 'workstation' stuff, a QS is not a good choice, since it can only play sequences from the start.
maybe CUBASIS (on your QS-CD) is a better choice.
