I am deciding to purchase my first keyboard. Most likely I will get an 88-key controller, or a decent synth like the new Yamaha EX5. Is it better in the long run to get a controller and then add compeonents so I won't be limited, or to just buy a decent workstation?
I won't be traveling w/ it much. Any suggestions on boards will help.
