: : I'm looking to by new sequencer software and I've been messing around with all the

: : sound banks into it. Is this the best software for a novice musician? If not, what's
: : recommended?

: Cakewalk is the best I know, I've been using it since 1992.
: For MIDI sequencing I prefer Cakewalk Pro 3.01. If you also want
: to mess with audio recording (I find it a waste of time and disk space) then
: go with version 7.0 (the latest).

How much does Cakewalk cost? Is it better than
Cubasis [sp?]?

What are the differences?
