I am using Win95, but I am using a soundBlaster Gold card for my midi.
I have noticed that I can move one or the other of the two wheels and cause the proble to change.
I get fustrated after working for a whole day on a song, and then when I get ready to tape it, it goes haywire on me.

: Certain events seem to send crud down the serial cable that the QS recognizes as a pitch bend. It happens for me when I launch or quit Cubasis and sometimes when I reboot Win 95. You can fix it by reselecting a patch or maybe by touching the pitch bend wheel if it is sending on the goofed up channel.

: (ps you didn't say you are using win95 and serial driver, that's just a not-so-wild guess on my part)
