: Dave, I saw your other note, about your troubles with the piano sounds on the QS8, and they sound exactly like what I'm hearing - I'm also running it through a Roland KC500. I notice that the treble on the PureStereo sound is the worst offender, which is too bad because the bass notes are so very nice....

: Did the configuration you describe below (left main to left input on one amp channel, right main to right input on a different amp channel) make anything sound better, or just louder? (Wish I was home so I could try that out....) Have you gotten any other advice/input that's been useful/helpful/discouraging? Is there anyone out there in ForumLand running the QS8/KC500 combo who doesn't have this problem?

    : Thanks,
    : bob geary

Hi bob and all. The running out to two channels from both outputs seems to only make it louder and stronger but does not help the sound any. I did download the piano patches from the Sam feller and wrote them into my user bank and the piano sounds there may be better. I am still playing with them but I like alot of them and he has done good work. Try them. They are in the forum message here under my piano sounds question and Sam has a link to them.
Other than that I don't know what to do yet. Sound is still not good. My son as the Roland A-90 and that piano sound is better, but I like the Alesis overall.
