I guess the problem is related with the windows-version of soundbridge.
I contacted Alesis (they know about the problem) and asked them if the reliability of the QS8 is compromised by the faulty Mix data. They told me that the problem with mixes on the card does not affect any other aspect of operation and that a new version of soundbridge will be released soon.
