: make a correct profile soon?

Ben Ling of Alesis tech support noted this problem
on the Quadrasynth mailing list sometime last fall.
The bank numbers used by the profile are wrong.
The profile uses the QS6/7/8/R bank numbering scheme by mistake.
I believe Ben said a fixed profile was in the works.
I sent some mail to him about it, but haven't yet
received a reply.

In the meantime, I have discovered that the current
profile apparently does not let you edit the effects
associated with a particular program. The profile help
talks about a setting to allow this, but the button
mentioned does not exist in the profile.

It is possible to edit the current effects setting
separately, and save it separately. But there isn't
a way to change a particular program's effects.
I also sent mail to Alesis about this a few weeks ago.
It was acknowledged and forwarded to an appropriate person,
but I haven't heard anything else yet.

So I hope someone is working on a new profile.

Dan
