Excellent board....an opinion is relative to personal preference and anyone can probably find an assortment of gripes about a piece of gear, but for the bucks, I like the QS 8. I'd prefer to see a few more outputs so that I can isolate all the drum sounds and really be able to use the drum patches on a professional level, but maybe that'll be in the next generation of board or I'll get a DM5 or their newer drum module coming out soon. As far as the sounds go, they are excellent quality, sonically speaking and I appreciate Adam Brisben's tech support at Alesis. He's pretty good at getting back to you in a reasonable amount of time if you email him a questiion.
