One patch you might like is called Dist Bass (it's patch no. 49, Preset Bank 2 (on a QS7, anyway). It sounds very nice as an electric guitar when played about 2 octaves above Middle C. When played one note at a time, it sounds "sweet" to me; when played as chords, the distortion becomes harsher. Hope it helps.
