QS 6.2 low volume

Bought used 6.2 everything seems to work properly but, I have to max the volume level on the keyboard then, turn my powered JBL Eon speaker up to 75% while my QS 7.1 needs only a small amount of volume to blast. I have checked global settings and re-initialized the factory default settings and emptied out edit buffers. But it doesn't help the volume problem, is there anything else that I can do? Thanks.
