I've had the same problem on my qs7.1. It only happens once in a while, like when I'm playing live! Also, the display will say "edited" when this happens.
For a while, the whole display would go blank and synth would be silent. I did manage to fix this by opening it up, and bending down one of those metal strips (right along the the top of the keyboard itself) that seemed to be shorting on a circuit board whenever I pressed the panel too hard.
First make sure to wiggle your pitch wheel to make sure that it's not just dirty and sending false pitch bend data!
