I too am having a similar problem, except my issue has taken control of all of my outputs...from my weak troubleshooting skills I have determined that it is either a failing capacitor or transistor. The 2 larger transistors get really hot. I think that they might have overheated at one point. I plan on replacing them in the near future and writing a blog about it.

Good luck

: My QS6 just started making this awful 'static' type noise when it powers up and while playing. It sounds like wind blowing through a microphone. All the patches sound fine. I usually use the 'phones' ouput to plug into my amp. I swapped cords, swapped channels in the amp. No change. I then took two patch cords and plugged them into the right and left out. The right channel sounds clean but the left has the same 'wind noise' coming through. I thought it was maybe the phone jack but now think it may be something in the output of the QS.Anyone ever have this happen?

: Thanks!
