Just to make sure. Does anyone that has succesfully replaced the LCD has the correct pinout? Could you send me by email?
Also, the LCD i´ve got has 16 pins. Is there any thing I should put on pins 15-16? I think they´re the backlight, but haven´t checked it yet. Just got them a few hours ago. Was a little hard to find it here...

My email is maptan * ig.com.br
Change the * for the right symbol ;)
Thanks ppl.
Matias
Thanks
: It's not going to help much, but that's the classic symptom of having the wrong wires going to the wrong places. (Or possibly a dead new display, but I'd go for the wires first.)

: : Hello, years ago in this message board paul wrote how to replace QS LCD panel.

: : I've constructed a cable, crossed the pins etc. Got the contrast and backlight working, but my synth (qs7) goes silent/hisses when the new display is connected. The display shows the default HD44780 all solid bars across the top line for not initializing. If I plug in the old dead display, everything is fine (execpt displaying characters)

: : Anyone here know how to solve this. Please help
