Update: I figured out that I can see which Mixes have what channel operating by lookig at the LCD screen where the "little dots" appear for the Midi channels (they look like this .... - that would be for channels 1-4) But what functon Edit Menu controls this? I tried "enabling" the channels but that doesn't seem to make a difference? Pleae help - I can't find any reference to it in the owners manual. thanks.

: I am having trouble receiving multiple Midi Channlels on my QS6 from my Kawai Q80 Sequencer. I can get it to respond to indiviual channel data while in Program mode but when I switch to Mix Mode it only seems to recognize Channels 1 and 2 on some of the "Split kayboard" mixes. How can I play back my drum track as well as the Bass and Synth Lines all at the same time? I know how to change the midi channle assignments for each of the 16 Mix Programs but it doesn't seem to affect what it is receiving. I don't think it's the sequencer because like I said it works in Program mode on one channel at a time. Thanks for any help.
